Frances Mary Morrey of Adderley, Drayton, Shropshire

I have amongst my possesion a lovely old autograph book dating from 1920 to 1922.  This book belonged to Frances (who quirkily liked to write her name as Francys) Mary Morrey.   Frances Mary Morrey was born in the December quarter in 1905 in Mt. Drayton, Shropshire.

I found Frances in the 1911 Census living with her parents Charles and Elizabeth and grandfather Joseph at 14 Adderley Market, Drayton, Shropshire.

Frances, or Francys as she liked to be known, kindly gave much information in the book as to who it belonged to.  This little book contains approximately 35 pages, most of which have been written on or little sketches have been lovingly drawn.

Francys introducing herself in January 1921, at which she would have been about 15 years old.

A friendship wall long before Facebook ever thought of it.

Just one of the beautiful pages made by Bonnie Heather, Wellington, September 1922.

Lovely picture very faintly signed 'Davies'?

I have had this little autograph book in my possession now for several years and would dearly love to see it go home, I feel it does not belong with me.  If you know of anyone related to or descended from Frances Mary Morrey, please get in touch via the website below.

I would be happy to return this to the closest living relative of Frances Mary Morrey.

PS. Tip on the male and female versions of this name.   Francis (m) and Frances (f).  'I for him and E for her'.
