Lambert and Burgoyne Family from Wells District, Somerset

Seeking Information and Connections for an English and Maltese Family who come together in Somerset, England.

Dave Lambert is seeking descendants of his Great Uncle John (aka) Jack LAMBERT. Jack was born in Kirkby, Nottinghamshire about 1906 and died in Meare, Glastonbury in November 1957. He was the Son of George LAMBERT and Carmela SCERRI and he had eleven siblings.

He married Georgina BURGOYNE in 1940 in the Weston-super-Mare District and they have five children:

Delores born 1941 and registered in the Wells, Somerset District.

Margaret born 1944, as above.

Keith born 1945, as above.

Graham born 1951, as above.

Donald born 1953, as above.

Background on the family:

George Lambert 1877-1960 Born Orston, Nottinghamshire. Died Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

Carmela Scerri 1879-1958 Born Valletta Malta. Died Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. George and Carmela married in Rabat Malta in August 1901 whilst George was stationed there.

Their first born was my Granddad Carmelo, (aka Charlia) born 1901, he was the oldest of twelve.  His siblings are: Ann(a) 1904, John (aka Jack) 1906, Mabel 1907, Thomas 1909, Everline 1910, Mary 1912, Delores 1914, Kathleen 1916, Edith 1919, George W 1922, and Alice May 1923.
